Elizabeth was born on December 1st, 1777 in Wilkes County,North Carolina. Elizabeth's father was William Kilby and her mother was Frances Eddins. Her paternal grandparents were John Kilby and Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Eddins and Catherine Towles. She had six brothers and three sisters, named James, Humphrey, Reuban, Abraham, William, John, Sarah (Sally), Mary (Polly) and Frances. She died in prob Maniteau,Missouri.-
