Abraham Kilby 
Abraham was born on August 16th, 1816 in Wilkes County,North Carolina. Abraham's father was Abraham Kilby and his mother was Mary Elizabeth (Betsey) Rash. His paternal grandparents were William Kilby and Frances Eddins; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Rash and Mildred (Milly) Isbell. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James Linville, William Haynes, Sarah, Lucinda Virginia, Frances and Mathilda. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 79 on September 19th, 1895.-
