Jacob Benjamin was born on August 19th, 1866. Jacob Benjamin's father was John Hoffman and his mother was Caroline Burrey. His maternal grandparents were Jacob Burry 2 and Mary Ann Carr. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John Andrew, James Wadsworth, Mary Jane and Minnie. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 67 on June 1st, 1934.-
