Watkin Herbert

Watkin was born about 1496 in of Plas Newydd,Crucywel,Breconshire,Wales and his baptism took place in {Godwin}. Watkin's father was William Herbert and his mother was Annes Walbyf. His paternal grandparents were Richard "Hir\Ddu" |ap William| Herbert Sir Knight and Jonet Bibydd. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Richard, Charles, Thomas, James, George, Anne, Gwenllian I, Margred, Jonet and Miss. He had a half-sister named Gwenllian II.
