William Hampton Sr 
William was born on May 7th, 1780 in Prince William Co,Virginia. William's father was Cary Henry Hampton and his mother was Elizabeth Plunkett. His paternal grandparents were Henry Hampton and Elizabeth Cary Hobson. He had three brothers and a sister, named Dr Anthony Garner, Henry Cary, Richard Thomas and Eleanor Preston. He died at the age of 39 on November 1st, 1819 in Cabell Co,Virginia (Now W. Virginia).-
