"They (Samuel and Elizabeth) resided in New Columbus, where Mr. Gray is now (1888) engaged in general merchandising and stock trading, associated with J. P. Moneyhun. Mr Gray served several years as Trustee of Adams Twp. where he has lived nearly all his life, and where his honesty is never questioned. He is a democrat of the old school. He does not belong to any church, but is a mason and member of Ovid Lodge No. 164. ------------------------- Mrs. Samuel Gray was born in Pennsylvania March 12, 1829, and came with her parents in 1843.
