Anna Catharina was born on October 1st, 1704 in Wingen Alsace,France. Anna Catharina's father was Johann Jacob Frey and her mother was Anna Maria Schaub. Her paternal grandparents were Gregor Frey and Veronica------------- UNKNOWN; her maternal grandfather was Mathias Schaub. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Johann Peter, Johann Heinrich, Andreas, Anna Cleophe and Anna Maria. She was the youngest of the six children.
