William Finley 
William was born on June 14th, 1746 in Sadsbury Twp,Chester County,Pennslvania. William's father was William O'Neil Finley and his mother was Cathrine Culbertson. His paternal grandparents were Michael Louder Finley and Ann O'neill. He had a brother named Michael. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 68 in 1814 in Hamilton Bann Twp,York County,Pennslvania.General Notes
Notes for WILLIAM FINLEY:
He is buried in Lower Marsh Creek Graveyard. Moved to West Caln Township,
between 1750 and 1764, or at least prior to 1768. Movedto York County,
Pa., where he is recorded in the Pennsylvania Archives, Third Series,
Vol. 21, as having in 1779, 4 horses, 5 cattle, and 243 acres of land.
Served in the Revolutionary War under Captain James Greer. "William
Finley, Yeoman, and Michael Finley of York County, Pa., only surviving
issue of William Finley, by Catherine, his late wife, to John Culbertson;
one hundred acres of land in London Grove." Dated Oct. 25, 1771
