Thomas Beaufort, Duke of was born in 1377 in Meurthe et Moselle. Thomas Beaufort, Duke of's father was John "Of Gaunt", Duke of Lancaster and his mother was Katherine de Roet. His paternal grandparents were King of England King of En Edward III and Philippa of Hainaut Queen of England Queen of E. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Henry, Catherine and Joan Beaufort, Countess of. He was the youngest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named John Plantagenet, Prince of, Edward, Henry IV, King of, John Plantagenet, Prince of, Philippa Plantagenet, Queen of, Elizabeth, Isabel, Blanche, Catherine of and Catherine.
