Louis DuBois 
Louis was born in 1626 in Artois,France. Louis' father was Chretien DuBois and his mother was Cornelia---------. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Seigheur de Fontaine and Isabell LeRoy. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Jacques, Antoine, Isaac, Francoise and Anne. He died at the age of 67 on June 23rd, 1693 in Kingston,Ulster County,New York.General Notes
Baptised at parish church of Wicres, France 11-13-1626.
Probably came with b-in-law Pierre Billiou 1661. Received land grant in Kingston 4-25-1663. On June 10, 1663, Indians attacked and burned and took captive Louis wife and three children. 3 months later and expedition sent from NY recovered the captives by surprising the Indians at their Fort near the Hogabergh in Shawangunk.
Death date may be 1696
‌Louis and Catharine were married in a religious ceremony on October 10th, 1665 in Fr.Prot. Ch.,Mannheim,Pfaltz,Ger. Palatinate. They had seven sons and four daughters, named Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon, Louis, Mattheus, Sara, Rebecca, Rachel and Magdalena.

Sara was born on September 14th, 1662 in Kingston,Ulster County,New York. She died at the age of 64 in 1726 in Salem County,New Jersey.
