Jacques DuBois 
Jacques was born on October 27th, 1628 in bap-Wicres,France. Jacques' father was Chretien DuBois and his mother was Cornelia---------. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Seigheur de Fontaine and Isabell LeRoy. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Louis, Antoine, Isaac, Francoise and Anne. He died at the age of 49 in 1677 in Kingston,Ulster County,New York.General Notes
Jacques was granted a license to sell his house in Leyden in 1675 as this fact is recorded in the Town Hall. He and his family left Leyden early in that year for on April 15, 1675, a letter of dismissal from the church was issured and recorded.
He was a manufacturer of laces, grosgrains and cloth.
‌Jacques and Pierronne were married in a religious ceremony on April 25th, 1663 in Leyden Walloon Church,Wicres,France. They had five sons and three daughters, named Jacques, Jean Jacques, Jehan, Pierre, Christian, Marie, Marie and Anne.
