William Dewees 
William was born in 1707. William's father was Lewis-Lambertus Dewees and his mother was Mary Wheeler. His paternal grandparents were Garrett Hendricksz de Wees and Sytie Lieuwes; his maternal grandparents were John Wheeler and Ruth------- UNKNOWN. He had four brothers named Hezekiah, Samuel, Cornelius and Jonathan. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 54 on February 11th, 1761 in Kent County,Delaware. He was buried in Will Probated Feb 11,1761.-
