Mahala Dewees 
Mahala was born in 1782. Mahala's father was Cornelius Dewees and her mother was Elizabeth Draper. Her paternal grandparents were Cornelius Dewees and Esther Draper. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Cornelius, Nehemiah S., Draper Alexander, Thirza and Sarah. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 83 on December 11th, 1865.-
