Thomas was born in 1610 in Chard Co.,Summerset,ENG. Thomas' father was *Philobert Cogan and his mother was *Ann Marshall. His paternal grandparents were *Thomas Cogan and *Elizabeth Fisher; his maternal grandparents were *Thomas Marshall and *Mary Cotton. He had six sisters named Elizabeth, Martha, Margaret, Ann, Susan and *Mary. He died at the age of 44 on March 4th, 1654.-
