Her paternal grandparents were Richard De CLARE and Alice (Adeliza) De MESCHINES; her maternal grandparents were James (Du Harcourt) De SAINT HILARY (HILAIRE) and Aveline. She had five brothers and a sister, named Richard De, James De, Roger De, John De, Henry De and Eveline (Aveline) De. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers named William D', Alan (Aubigny) De and Godfrey (Aubigny) De. She died at the age of 37 in 1203.General Notes
