James CLEGG 
James was born on May 28th, 1837 in Preston,Lncshr,Engl. James' father was Jonathan CLEGG and his mother was Ellen WALMSLEY. His paternal grandparents were Henry Sr. CLEGG and Ellen CARDWELL; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Weaver WALMSLEY and Elizabeth C. HICKHAM (HIGHMAN). He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, William, Joseph, Henry, Henry, Alice and Margaret Ellen. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 37 on February 9th, 1875.General Notes
