Thomas was born about 1587 in Of,Eaglesham,Renfrewshire,England. Thomas' father was Andrew BOYD BISHOP OF ARGYLL and his mother was Mrs. Andrew BOYD. His paternal grandparents were Thomas BOYD BARON BOYD and Margaret Campbell CAMPBELL BARONESS BOYD. He was an only child. He died after November 1st, 1662.
