Richard Fitz was born in 1350 in Arundel,Sussex,England. Richard Fitz's father was Richard Fitzalan Earl of Arundel Earl of Ar and his mother was Eleanor Plantagenet. His maternal grandparents were Henry Plantagenet and Maud or Matilda de Chaworth. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John of Arundel, John Fitz, Joan and Alice. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Henry III and Maud. He died at the age of 47 in 1397 in beheaded.
