Michel Pothier 
Michel was born on March 21st, 1710 in Trois Rivieres, Quebec.1 Michel's father was Jean Baptiste Pothier and his mother was Marie Etienette Beauvais. His paternal grandparents were Jean Pothier and Marguerite De Xaintes Saniles; his maternal grandparents were Jacques Beauvais Dit St Jeme and Jeanne Solde. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Jean Alexis, Guillaume, Joseph Maire, Jean-Baptiste, Marie Louise, Marie Barbie, Marie Catherine, Marie Louise, Unnamed, Jeanne Marguerite, Marie-Madeleine and Marie Francoise. He was the youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 9 on July 30th, 1719 in Trois Rivieres, Quebec.1 General Notes
