Basile Pepin 
Basile was born on June 19th, 1724.1 Basile's father was Jacques Pepin and his mother was Elizabeth (Isabelle) Dufresne. His paternal grandparents were Jacques Pepin and Marie-Jeanne Caiet; his maternal grandparents were Jean Baptiste Dufresne and Marie Marsal. He had six brothers and a sister, named Jacques, Jacques, Jean Baptiste, Joseph, Touissant, Pierre and Elisabeth. He was the second youngest of the eight children.-
