Francois Rivard Lacoursiere 
Francois Rivard was born on September 27th, 1659 in Trois Rivieres, St. Maurice Co., Quebec.1 Francois Rivard's father was Nicolas Rivard and his mother was Catherine Isabelle De St Pere. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Nicholas Rivard Lavigne and Jeanne Mullard; his maternal grandparents were Etienne De St Pere and Marie Madeleine Coustaud. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Nicolas, Julien Lavigne, Pierre Rivard, Jean, Antoine, Jeanne, Marie Madeleine, Michel and Marie Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 66 on September 14th, 1726 in Batiscan, Quebec, Canada.1 -
