Marie Cormier 
Marie was born about 1700 in Beaubassin, Cumberland, Nova Scotia.1 Marie's father was Alexis Cormier and her mother was Marie Leblanc. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Cormier and Madeleine Gerauard; her maternal grandparents were Jacques Le Blanc and Catherine Hebert. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Jean Baptiste, Pierre, Agnes, Anne, Madeleine and Marguerite.-
