Laurent was born about March 14th, 1712 in Longueuil, Chambly, Quebec. Laurent's father was Pierre Bourdeau and his mother was Marguerite Lefebvre. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Bourdeau and Caterine Janier\Sunier; his maternal grandparents were Pierre Lefebvre and Marie Marguerite Gagne. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Pierre, Marie Marguerite Francoise, Marie Catherine, Suzanne Francoise and Anne Catherine. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Pierre, Dominique Andre and Marguerite.-
