Jeanne was born after 1647.1 Jeanne's father was Jacques Aubuchon and her mother was Marguerite Itasse. Her paternal grandparents were Jean Antoine Aubuchon and Catherine Lemarchand; her maternal grandparents were Jean Poisson and Barbe Broust. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Jacques, Pierre, Rene, Joseph Aubuchon Dit, Marguerite and Marie Anne. She was the second oldest of the seven children.-
