King Louis II of Franks (The Stammerer) 
Louis II of Franks, known as The Stammerer, was born on September 1st, 0846. The Stammerer's father was Emperor Karl II (The bald) Hre and his mother was Ermentrudeof Orleans. His paternal grandparents were Emperor Louis I (The debonaire) Hre and Jutta of Bayern; his maternal grandparents were Ct. Odo (Eudes) of Orleans and Engeltrudeof Orleans. He had five sisters named Judith of Aquitaine, Hersent of Franks, Hersent of Franks, Rothildeof Kahlen and Rothildeof Kahlen. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Rothaut of Germany. He died at the age of 32 on April 10th, 0879 in Compiegne, France.General Notes
