Agnes was born about 1142.  Agnes' father was Louis VII Capet King of France and her mother was Eleanore of Aquitaine Queen of England. She had two sisters named Marie and Alix.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Henry, Richard I, Geoffrey, John I, Matilda, Eleanor and Joanna.
