‌Joseph and Mary Jane were married in a religious ceremony in 1777.  They had seven sons and five daughters, named John, Jehu, Moses, William Kinkead, James, Joseph, Robert, Mary Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Jane, Virginia and Andrea.
