John Young

John was born about 1779.¹ John's father was William Young and his mother was Ann Trimble. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Young and Jane Haynes. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas R, William, Nancy, Jane, Polly, Matilda, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
