Johanna Dorothea Theising

Johanna Dorothea was born on March 18th, 1835 in Hanover,Germany.  Johanna Dorothea's father was John Henry Christopher Theising and her mother was Maria Julianna Gertrude Klenke.  Her maternal grandparents were UNKNOWN KLENKE and Unknown UNKNOWN. She had four brothers and a sister, named Christopher Wilhelm, Siegfried, Henry A., Johann Augustus and Maria Julianna.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 73 on November 16th, 1908 in Shelbyville,Shelby,IN.  She was buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery,Shelbyville,IN.

‌Johanna Dorothea and Henry Christopher were married in a religious ceremony in 1852.  They had a son and two daughters, named John Henry Jr., Maria Aloysius and Maria Carolina.

‌Johanna Dorothea and Mathias J. were married in a religious ceremony on January 10th, 1861.  They had three sons and five daughters, named George, John Mathias, Johann Mathias, Catherine, Elisabeth L. Othelia, Veronica Sophronia, Rosalind Katherine and Catherina Celia.
