Her paternal grandparents were John Henry Christopher Theising and Maria Julianna Gertrude Klenke; her maternal grandparents were John DAVIS and Mary VICKERY. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John Henry, Orion W., Edward Frank, William R., Warren S., Gene, Mary J. Rebecca, Clarada and Lizzie May. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
