Clarada was born on February 5th, 1871. Clarada's father was Siegfried Theising and her mother was Elisabeth Vesta Davis. Her paternal grandparents were John Henry Christopher Theising and Maria Julianna Gertrude Klenke; her maternal grandparents were John DAVIS and Mary VICKERY. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John Henry, Orion W., Edward Frank, William R., Warren S., Gene, Mary J. Rebecca, Ella Marion and Lizzie May. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
