Elizabeth Rice 
Elizabeth's father was Jacob Rice and her mother was Catherine Higbee. Her maternal grandparents were John Higbee and Margaret Ellison. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Male, Male, Male, Male, Diademia, Dulsena, Roena, Euphronesia and Nancy.
Elizabeth and Peter D were married in a religious ceremony after 1836. They had a son and a daughter, named Lemuel and John M.
