Jessie Theorih's father was Jesse Thomas Page and his mother was Nancy Jane Newell.  His paternal grandmother was Amy Adeline Dark; his maternal grandparents were Asa Newell and Rachel Elizabeth Cole. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Daniel Webster, Thomas Benson, Amie, Esther Victoria, Ira V., Martha Ellen and Minnie Caroline.
