Sarah McClure 
Sarah was born about 1778. Sarah's father was James McClure and her mother was Alice Young. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel McClure and Mary Dryden; her maternal grandparents were Patrick Young and Isabella Todd. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Alexander, John, Samuel, Isabella, Alice and Jane. She was the second youngest of the eight children.General Notes

Russell Co. Va. GenWeb site to the Indian attack on the family of Halbert McClure, September 11, 1782 in Washington Co. Va. He had a daughter Sally McClure who was engaged to marry a Mr. Kincaid the next day. She was carried off by the Indians and escaped. She later married Mr. Kincaid. Her siblings included Moses (killed) Katherine (killed) and John, (wounded) and 2 others, not named.
It was a circuit court record dated Spring term 1831. It goes something like this:
