John McClung

John was born in 1776.  John's father was Joseph McClung and his mother was Unknown Bell.  His paternal grandparents were John McClung and Rebecca Stuart. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Samuel, Jane, Abigail, Nancy, Margaret, Mary and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.

‌John and Deborah were married in a religious ceremony on September 22nd, 1807.  They had a son and five daughters, named Fielding, Melinda, Margaret, Sarah, Elizabeth and Talitha.
