Frances Leising

Frances was born on March 17th, 1887.  Frances' father was Bernard Leising and her mother was Josephine HAVERKOS.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry LEISING and Mary KNUYA; her maternal grandparents were Johann Henrich Haverkos and Mary LAMPING. She had a brother and three sisters, named Bernard Leising, Anna D., Katharine and Bertha F..  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Joseph F, Hugo, Josephine, Catherine (Leona), Mary (Mae), Alvina H, Clara and Philomena A.  She died at the age of 54 on August 12th, 1941 in Batesville,Franklin,IN.  She was buried in St. Louis Cemetery.

‌Frances and John Mathias were married in a religious ceremony on October 20th, 1897 in Holy Family Catholic Church,Oldenburg,Franklin,IN.  They had two sons and a daughter, named John Bernard, Arthur John and Winnafrieda Catherine.
