Minnie May was born on February 4th, 1912 in Liberty Ctr,Warren,IA. Minnie May's father was James Carey Bug Hess and her mother was Fleeta May Sargent. Her paternal grandparents were William W. Hess and Nancy Elizabeth Young; her maternal grandfather was E.G. Sargent. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Byron Ray, Gerald Glenn, Kermit William, James Carey, Living, Living, Living, Jewell, Pearle Gale, Mary Ellen, Lela Juanita and Living. She died at the age of 75 on December 15th, 1987.-
