Druscilla was born in 1834 in Shelby IN. Druscilla's father was Amos Headlee and her mother was Anna Nancy Myer. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua M Headlee and UNKNOWN Susanna; her maternal grandparents were Peter MYER and Susannah BARKDOLL. She had four sisters named Pleasant, Matilda, Sophronia and Eliza. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Albert, John, Peter, Emily and Susannah.
‌Druscilla and James M. were married in a religious ceremony on February 3rd, 1861 in Shelbyville,Shelby IN. They had five sons and a daughter, named Morten, Walter F, UNKNOWN, Linius H, William V. and Anna (Ada).
