Dolly Hankins 
Dolly was born on October 22nd, 1860 in Shelby,IN. Dolly's father was William Hankins and her mother was Huldah G. Salla. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Hankins and Sarah Curry; her maternal grandparents were Lewis Judge Salla and Julia Ann Gordon. She had a brother and six sisters, named Lewis C., Sarah, Alice, Julia Ann, Molly, Marietta and Katie. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 22 on July 3rd, 1883 in Shelby,IN.General Notes

Mrs. Dollie Wright, wife of David L. Wright and daughter of Mrs. William Hankins, died yesterday afternoon at her home just north of the city. Death is terrible in all its forms but when a young wife, in the very bloom of womanhood is cut down it is then that the burden of affliction is almost too great to bear. We are well acquainted with Mrs. Wright and knew her to be a lady of lovely and affectionate disposition. Words of sympathy are of little comfort in dire afflictions like this, but the bereaved family and especially the husband have the condolences of the entire community. The death of Mrs. Wright resulted from consumption. The funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at the family residence by Rev. S. Tincher of the M.E. Church, and the interment will take place at the City cemetery.
