Alta Hankins 
Alta was born about 1888. Alta's father was Joseph Berry Hankins and her mother was Nancy Jane Harrell. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Tipton Hankins and Phoebe Jane Glenn. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Oley Samuel, Otto Joseph, Anna Mae, Olva Earl and Elva Earl. She was the second oldest of the six children.-
