Sarah was born in 1813. Sarah's father was Samuel R Guyn and her mother was Margaret Kennedy. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Guyn and Jane Raburn; her maternal grandparents were Phillip Kennedy and UNKNOWN Mary. She had five brothers and ten sisters, named Milton Oliver, Seth O, Moses, Samuel, Samuel R, Eppy, Infant, Mary, Margaret, Jane Rayburn, Rachael, Valentine, Susan, Elandor and Sallie. She was the sixth oldest of the sixteen children.-
