Neal Gordon Guyn 
Neal Gordon was born on July 11th, 1842 in ,Woodford,KY. Neal Gordon's father was John Guyn and his mother was Elizabeth White. His paternal grandparents were Robert Guyn and Jane Black; his maternal grandparents were Joel White and UNKNOWN Minerva. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin William, Joel White, Robert James, John B, Hugh Spears, William Henry, Nancy Jane, Kitty Ann, Elizabeth Lewis and Mary Martha. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 50 on May 22nd, 1893 in ,Woodford,KY. He was buried in Guyn Cemetery,Woodford,KY.General Notes
may have been in prision during civil war, a letter 13aug1863 from Simeon Hifner refers to N Guyn & E Yeagle from Camp Chase near Chicago and then moving to Camp Douglas. the letter tl;aks about being exchanged for morganmen so I assume they fouhgt for the confederacy.
