Anne was born on March 1st, 1817 in ,Monongalia,WVa. Anne's father was John Evans and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Windsor. Her paternal grandparents were Jared Evans and Nancy FOX (FUCHS) OR MICHAEL; her maternal grandparents were William John Windsor and Parthenia Conaway. She had a brother and three sisters, named Samuel, Dilemma, Deliah and Catherine. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 63 on July 21st, 1880 in Mapleton,IA.-
