James Eldridge 
James was born on September 28th, 1849 in Shelby IN. James' father was John M Eldridge and his mother was Mary Ann Morris. His paternal grandparents were Enos Eldridge and Nancy Ellen Motherly; his maternal grandparents were William MORRIS and Martha J. Young. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Edward, David Elmer, Joesph Henry, Martha Ann, Patsy Jane and Matilda Alice. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 68 on April 7th, 1918 in Howard,IN.-
