David Elmer was born on March 24th, 1864 in Howard,IN. David Elmer's father was John M Eldridge and his mother was Mary Ann Morris. His paternal grandparents were Enos Eldridge and Nancy Ellen Motherly; his maternal grandparents were William MORRIS and Martha J. Young. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Edward, Joesph Henry, Martha Ann, Patsy Jane and Matilda Alice. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 60 on December 31st, 1924 in Howard,IN.-
