Robert M. was born on December 24th, 1858. Robert M.'s father was Robert Crockett and his mother was Jane Sullivan. His paternal grandparents were John Drake Crockett and Jane Cartmill. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John Nelson, David, William Warrick, Thomas, Carlisle, James E., Martha J., Mary, Ann Elizabeth and Sarah Catherine. He was the youngest of the eleven children.-
