Prudence Hudeman was born on February 16th, 1856. Prudence Hudeman's father was Eli Crockett and her mother was Mary Williams. Her paternal grandparents were John Drake Crockett and Jane Cartmill. She had a brother and three sisters, named Robert Andrew, Mary Jane, Susannah and Margaret Harriet. She was the youngest of the five children.
