John Crockett 
John was born in 1768. John's father was Samuel Crockett and his mother was Jane Steele. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Crockett and Esther Thompson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Robert, Samuel, Jane, Esther, Margaret and Catherine. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 72 in 1840.-
