Sarah was born in 1824 in ,Woodford County,KY. Sarah's father was John Black and her mother was Martha McGill. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Black and Ann Spears. She had a brother and four sisters, named Robert Alexander, Martha, Ann, Eliza Jane and Margaret. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 69 on October 2nd, 1893 in ,Woodford County,KY.-
