Eliza Jane was born on February 12th, 1818. Eliza Jane's father was John Black and her mother was Martha McGill. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Black and Ann Spears. She had a brother and four sisters, named Robert Alexander, Martha, Ann, Margaret and Sarah. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 30 on November 12th, 1848 in ,Woodford,KY. She was buried in Ebebezer Church Cemetery,Jessamine,KY.-
